To be an RN, you will need a 4 year University Degee in Nursing. The 3 enlisted Air Force jobs that are the equivalent to an LPN are AFSC’s :

4J0X2 – PHYSICAL MEDICINE

4N0X1 – AEROSPACE MEDICAL SERVICE

4N1X1 – SURGICAL SERVICE

The military no no direct equivalent to an LPN, but those 3 are close.

To be an RN, you will need a 4 year University Degee in Nursing.

Having said that, check with your local recruiter and see if they have anything that guarantees training in the: 4N0X1 Medical Service 4N1X1 Surgical Service career fields. Medical Corpsmen are equivalent to LPN's in training. The good news is that if you excel they may put you on a path to Physician's Assistant (PA) which should give you a leg up on a better job in civilian life. Good Luck.
