NCLEX-PN nursing, how hard is the exam?
M asked:
I am currently in the LVN program and hopefully will finish in December. I just would like to know how hard the NCLEX-LVN is and how much time will I have after I finish school to take the exam??? Where would I be more likely to get hired faster…at a nursing home or hospital???? Thanks in advance.

If you don’t know your sh*t then the NCLEX is hard. Esp. the questions about which client to see first. There tend to be quite a few of these so brush up on those. I believe you have up to six months to complete the exam after class, but you can take it again if you fail. Hiring depends on where you are and what the demands are for nurses in the hospitals vs. the homes. However in my experiece you’ll get into a nursing home faster.

The test is not that easy for most people but it is certainly passable./
Where you will get hired faster is the result of local conditions. You do not have to worry since in most areas the demand exceeds the supply./
