It is pretty easy to make friends within a unit. Many times there will be multiple travelers within the same unit or within the hospital.

Many of the apartment complexes are used by multiple agencies, so there will be other travelers there as well.

If you have any interests that you like to keep up with, you can find a club or group of some sort, just as at home.

If you are outgoing, making friends and having things to do happens naturally. There is so much exploring to do, you won't be bored.

I have traveled as a nurse and also have a website dedicated to traveling. It really is a lot of fun!

My Aunt is a traveling nurse and she has no problems with her social life. She has pleanty of time to come visit us, spend time with her friends, and go on trips.

She only travels in the same state so it's easier, but some nurses travel within regions. She makes friends wherever she goes and loves to do it.
