I’m a CNA in WI..Many of the local CNAs are certified in both WI & IL as I live on the border..They have to be certified in each state that they are employed in. Unfortunately there isn’t a nationwide certification exam..Most states have reciprocal certification arrangements with their neighboring states… You didn’t ask, but around here, wages run from $9 /hr to $13 /hr..
