I have a dismissed charge of pointing a firearm on my public record. I also have a guilty conviction of a disorderly conduct from the same time period. Do I have a chance of becoming a CNA?

It really all depends on the company hiring you. The gun charge may hurt your chances, but it depends on how long, and if you are currently working with the public. If you are, and have been for quite some time I think someone would be able to see that you aren’t a threat and it was in the past and your over it now. My friend had a disorderly conduct (5th degree) and she’s working as a cna, hasn’t had any problems so far! Good luck!
