Question by a e: How do I get my LPN/RN degree online, I already have a B.S. in Human Physiology?

I want to take as many courses online as possible and then go into class for those that I absolutely cannot take online. I already have a lot of the required coursework such as Anatomy/Physiology etc. What school would allow me to do this?

There are many accredited universities that offer online programs in Nursing. Traditionally an RN was a 4yr degree program. Since you have alot of the prerequisites, you would need to have them accepted by the institution you choose, take any other didactic coursework, and then go to a practicum at the university. Ideally, you would want to go to a university that would offer a “condensed” practicum curriculum to save time. One good program is LULL(Liberty University of Lifelong Learning), the online part of Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. There are many others, but choose what fits your life situation the best. The other option is to do a 2 yr or less RN program offered at a junior college. There is a shortage of nurses and this is a pretty streamlined way to go. It may take you less than 2 yrs if you get credit for your prior coursework. Typically this option has a fairly flexible schedule of coursework.
